This is a dedicated trio whose guidance plays an important role in preparing our older learners for 5th grade and the transition to middle school. Their commitment, care, and high expectations help students build the confidence and skills they need for the years ahead! 🙌👏
🎉 And last but not least… the totals are in! 🎉
Nodland’s contributions to the Siouxland Soup Kitchen were nothing short of amazing! Our tiniest learners donated over 2,190 items! When combined with Sunnyside, our students collected an incredible 7,200 items in total. ❤️
What a powerful way to put November’s lessons on giving and gratitude into action. We are so proud of our students and generous families! 👏🧡
We rounded out our November Character Strong lessons by celebrating students who demonstrated this month’s trait: Gratitude — choosing to appreciate the people and things in our lives. 🍁

Sunnyside partnered with East High to support their Community Closet and collected over 5,000 items—an wonderful show of generosity from our school community.
A big congratulations to Mrs. Embke’s class for bringing in the most items, and a heartfelt thank-you to our Student Council for helping pack up all the food. 😍
